The upgrade from Jobs 4 to Jobs 5 included major changes and several new
features. This talk covers those changes and how you can take advantage of
them when using the Jobs system.
2.20.2006 - anomaly jobs for coders
Jobs for Coders is designed to introduce some of the more advanced
features of the Jobs system like Summaries, Skins, Letters and Hooks. As
such this is geared more towards coders who are looking to make Jobs more
useful to their own game.
3.21.2007 - intro to softcode
A very basic introductory discussion on the fundamentals of MU* softcode,
explaining the role of objects, attributes, flags, functions and commands
in coding and in the MU* environment. Some examples are included along with
the theory.
3.24.2007 - intro to softcode: take two
Another discussion covering the basics. This session went a little off course
and is more of a freeform chat about various topics. Hopefully some useful
insight can be gleaned; at the very least, it should be a fun read!
4.25.2007 - MUSH and New RPGs
This will be a discussion about how we can bring ideas from new RPGs into
our mush games. We'll present ideas from a few games and then open it up
into general discussion and Q&A. Bring your love for mush games and
RPGs!
